I’ve created over 100 banners for our intranet site to help draw employees into events or important information that would otherwise go unnoticed in the sea of postings that could be added within a day. I would generally grab clipart and modify it to our needs.
A banner was needed to encourage employees to get their flu shots.
What better way to do so than to illustrate what the “bug” could look like if caught unprotected!
This banner informed employees to attend a free seminar to deal with stress in the workplace.
The strong graphic depicts how some employees may be feeling.
This banner was created to entice employees to attend a meeting by luring them in with ice cream.
The parlor background and use of the cone added a whimsical feel to the event.
Instead of showing just a boring logo with some text, this banner utilized the real estate to blend the two.
The stripes on the flag direct users to click on the graphic.
The clipart was modified and original artwork from the students was added to personalize the upcoming “Earth Day” event.
I wanted to grab the employees attention to read a need for a volunteer effort.
What better way to do so than create a “Want Ad”.
Every summer our ES&H department monitors the Heat Index to notify employees working outside the percentage
of exposure to the extreme heat. This banner helped illustrate the need to review updates on a daily basis.
The Fitness Center periodically offers special events and information for the well-being of all individuals on site.
There were several Health Tips released on a weekly basis to enlighten employees
of ways to relieve the aches and pains of sitting all day working on their computers.
Evaluations on ergonomics are conducted on an as needed basis but most employees are not aware of this service.
This banner helps illustrate what poor posture most individuals experience sitting at a non-compliant workstation.
Blood Drives are conducted several times through out the year with special incentives offered to encourage
donors to participate. For this particular drive, a T-shirt was given to those who rolled up their sleeve for a good cause.
I needed to create a shirt with the graphic in place to help user visualize what they would receive.
